Phantom II

1/144 JASDF F-4EJ Kai 301st Squadron 2013 Air Combat Meet/F-4EJ JASDF 60th Anniversary Paint (2 Kit) (Plastic model)

2-in-1 kit. Beautiful detailing. Recessed panel lines. 2 pilots and control sticks and seats. No decal or instrument panels. Plain wheel wells though. Decals grouped together for easy applications. In-flight stands that shares the same connection with a pylon or drop tank should you do the wheels-down version. No missiles. Must-have.

Harushio

JMSDF Submarine Harushio Class (Plastic model)

Waterline or full hull. Upper hull slight warped or I would've done waterline. I painted it black, masked it off and painted it dark grey. Recessed panel lines. Decals. Stand. Nice kit.

Akitsushima

Imperial Japanese Navy Seaplane Tender Akitsushima (Plastic model)

Waterline. Excellent detailing. 2 Kawanishi flying boats. Plenty of fiddly bits. Dozens of unused deals and parts. I would've liked if the wood deck was separate for easy painting.

totally agree with you aXn, they are seriously overpriced for the past few years, considering I paid 45$ for Gabranth in 2013 and look how much he cost now. 300$ roughly hot toys standard which we all know PAk is no where near that

I don't care what ppl say, I like this figure. I love Miku and Tony's fairy figures. Regardless of whether this figure is considered copy and paste or a lazy attempt at a cash grab I'm still buying her.

Easy kit. Raised panel lines. Two-part canopy. Nice cockpit. Detailed exhausts, wheel wells and landing gear. Hundreds of quality decals for box art and combat versions. Both French Air Force. I did the box art version with a center drop tank and outboard missiles from my stash and eduard interior photoetch.

Racing Miku 2017 Ver. (PVC Figure)

While I do agree this seems to be a copy paste of the heroine series, it doesn't bother me that much. What really does bother me is that GSC didn't seem to translate Tony's art style from 2D to 3D all that well, mainly the face. I would never have guessed this was a Tony figure if I hadn't read the description.

Skytube has been doing Tony figures for a while now, and almost all of them are spot on. Unfortunately, GSC didn't do so well on this figure.

My bad. I didn't mean "Shining" as I was referring to Mat's post. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10233756/20/1

A different pose would have been nice. Tony went this route because of the Fairy series' popularity, but I wished he had taken a risk and done something completely original. Regardless, Fairy Miku is pretty.

Anubis (Plastic model)

height of this model is about the same size as an actionman figure its really surprising how tall and stable it is but i did re-enforce the stands pin to make sure it did not brake, i was sold this ready made & unpainted (took it apart & painted it then re-built it) it was really easy to make. stands up without the stand to. i used SF3D kit transfers for the detailing as shown on the front box artwork, as no transfers are included.

2017/08/17 7:58:00

paul

Anubis (Plastic model)

unmissable kit (loads of parts but very easy to build) most parts make up the extremely high detail that you see, tiny parts make a big model and worth every pound, i could not get a red lining paint-pen to show up so i used blue instead (posca paint pen "light blue" was the only colour i tested that worked this well), its worth putting in the extra "lining" work or else it wont look as good, and this is my first attempt at this. very sturdy to. transfers not included,i used SF3D kit transfers.

Porsche 911 Turbo (Model Car)

This is one of the most beutiful Porsche models. Accurate and proportions of the body and chassis are realy nice. interior is a nice rendering of the car door panels seats, dash board and steering wheels. the weakest parts of this car resides in wheels and tires. Although a good paint job can bring the to life, tires are generic and they are not even closer to the actual ones. Turbo cars have big wheels at front but bigger wheels at rear with possitive offset.

I am really disappointed with this product. AOSHIMA actually disrespect those that are buying their products. The model is not even close to the picture of the motorcycle in the box: Major disapointments:
Three arm wheels instead of the seven arm that appear in the actual motorcycle.
the turn signal lamps are not the square box type used in the actual vehicle
The tail lamp is not even close to match the shape of the actual vehicle. This is unfair
