The figure is nice but the clothes are cast-off and unlike the pictures, you can clearly see her nipples since the clothes don't fit the boobs correctly. Also, the arm holding the weapon feels really loose and I fear it will just fall with time... Apart from that, nice figure for the price!

Of course i did instant reservation for Madoka! She is perfect. Although I wish a school uniform dress too (maybe when she was still a bad girl and a evil look ahah). The hat is very into this figure due she become Kyosuke's friend thanks a similar hat.....so it remember me of that beautiful scene on the stairs.....she lost her Hat and Kyosuke did a very long jump to take it.....a very remarkeable memory. I loved this Anime and Manga very very much.

Oh, I definitely think they're on par with GSC. I love Alter, I just feel from what I've seen recently, for example Kiss-Shot Acerola (GSC) that they tend to not be as vibrant perhaps.

I have Alter's Samurai Girls Senhime and the colours and figure are great. But I think this Saber might be a tad on the light side. Just my opinion.

I have owned several figures from Alter where comments were made
about the lack of vibrancy in color based on pictures. Vibrancy of colors
were not lacking ... and in fact they feel less "plasticky" than some of
Max Factory's figures (a GSC company) Of course, it depends entirely
on the artist in charge, but the ones I own are on par with GSC and Koto.

Awesome, I've been waiting for this since it was announced at Wonder. I think I know what @J is talking about @Discoceris. I think it's more brands like GSC & Koto etc seem to be a lot more vibrant in their colour palette.

This Saber looks very 'light' in terms of colour and I think Alter can stay on the safe side re colour density. I think it's a realism thing, if it's incredibly bright well, it's kind of like a 'toy' not so much a figure per say.

Forgot the waterslides. #11 is chiyoda read from right to left, should be on the back of hull near the top. The rear flag pole was made out of a part tree. Hull is 2 pieces = putty. The 6 masts/towers can be installed either upright or sideways.

Pit-Road dropped the ball on this kit. No lower deck. No deck camo decal. Aoshima's version has them for less. No aircraft on an aircraft carrier. Epic. High price. The painting guide had camo markings in the right size so I photocopied it a few times & cut out the colors so I could paint the deck in layers.

At over 9" tall, and with so much gorgeous detail, it's worth the
price. One only has to go look at much older figures on here,
with the price they sold at, to see the difference. I will gladly
pay for these prices if the figures are WELL MADE.

Other places sell this figure for more ($20 to $40). You can cry
all you want, but cost of material & labor has gone up, and
figures are in HIGH DEMAND.

joints, but for some reason, they did not call it that. So I looked at GSC
site and they said that this is originally developed, and uses ALLOY
material, which makes it different from figma.

I hate to be pandentic but no violin player would carry their violin like that. First, a violin is not cheap, and if you drop it, it's going to hurt (your wallet). Second, her sleeves is pushing near the bridge section of the strings. You don't really want to touch that area as that part of the strings is full of rosin dust. The dust is gonna get on your wool coat and make a mess.

Very minimal, striking pose with great colour juxtaposition. Instantaneous charm.
Cool historical significance and story behind Souji Okita (One of the best swordsman in Japan during the Meiji era)

The only con I can think of is in comparison with an Alter piece is that it does lack a bit of dramatic charm. The drama, usually in the clothing or pose do help later appreciation.

Considering the series this character hails from the fact that it's not a cast-off is a very odd choice and a seriously missed opportunity. Her skin should be more tanned too. She's still a really nice figure, absolutely gorgeous, but some of the decisions made make no sense. If you're on the fence I'd suggest waiting because I expect we'll see a re-release with darker skin and cast-off some day soon.

HG Fine Nipper (for Gate Cut) (Hobby Tool)

If you've never owned the God Hand, this is a pretty decent nipper. I'm not very fond of the screw and bolt that you need to adjust so that you do not ruin the blade. I held it up to the light so I can see how much more or less to turn the screw. Performance wise, what I can do with a God Hand nipper with one cut, I accomplish with Wave HG Fine nipper with two cuts -virtually indistinguishable i.e. you can't tell the difference. Keep in mind the Wave HG Fine nipper is less expensive.
