Audi A4 DTM`09 [T.Scheider] (Model Car)

However, the Audi A4 DTM looks much better than the AMG DTM. The chrome plating was easily rubbed off. The bodywork took a primer, sanding, flat black, sanding, glossy coat, polishing, decals, softener & flat coat. Various metallic colors on the interior & drive train. 2 to 3 times the work of a good car kit, but definitely worth the effort.

Audi A4 DTM`09 [T.Scheider] (Model Car)

The AMG Mercedes C-Class DTM 2009 kit was way better than this. Bad fit. Flash & mold lines. Lot of puttying & sanding. Multilingual instructions. Quality pre-cut decals. Step 42 is unclear. The firewall must sit flush with body or the body won't close. I did Baremetal, custom seatbelt, carbon fiber decals, PE windshield wiper & DIY PE front grill.

Poor quality and design flaws, the transp. cloth that's running around the character is basically braking off the horn on the left of the head. The base is pretty poorly designed too, the metal pin is too long and the hole on the right foot is not wide/deep enough to fit the pin in, you have to cut 1-1.5 cm off to be able to fix the char. on the base. Painting is well done, shape and show realistic design wise it is fine but this is way to expensive for a figure with manufacturing/design defects

Akame ga Kill! [Esdeath] (PVC Figure)

As much as I loved Esdeath, I won't be buying this figure. She doesn't have the uniform that makes her so recognizable, and instead of a dynamic and exciting pose, she's sitting on a chair in a very boring manner. It's been over a year since the anime concluded, and it is very disappointing that I waited this long for a figure from the series, but it ended up being this very mediocre figure.

I'm conflicted. I want to reserve this to show support for figure production of less mainstream vocaloids, yet the higher price on this one is more in line with a 1/7 scale.

The prior Yuzuki Yukari figure done by Pulchra was about 4400 yen lower in cost, but looks to me to be more detailed overall, and is the same scale.

Nakajima Ki-44-II Hei Shoki (Toji) (Plastic model)

The Shoki deserved to be produced in more volume since B-29s were on the horizon.
By midwar the Ki 43 and A6M were obsolete and both produced by Nakajima to the end. Think of how many Ki 44s could have been made instead.

Also, with the Ki 61 coming to grief in the tropics, the reliable Ki 44 should have replaced the unreliable Hien except in Japan.
The Shoki was low maintenance campared to the Ki 61, Ki 84, J2M, and N1K.
All unrelable by comparison.

Nakajima Ki-44-II Hei Shoki (Toji) (Plastic model)

Since full turn was almost 20 sec, most Japanese pilots disliked the Shoki vs the Hayabusa at 11 sec! But in any other nation it was a good turn rate. The P-51B could turn inside it but still didn't outclass it.
Some say it dove 513 mph.

I like the Ki 44-IIc with cannon. The famous 40mm low velocity short range recoiless cannon was unpopular with a range of just 150m, but it could put a 1.5m whole in a B-29! The high powered long range 20mm Ho-3 quartet was my favorite.

The kit is awesome. Only missing front wing flaps. Instead of painting the front wing, window frames & side skirts, I applied carbon fiber decals on them. Instead of the 4 chrome-plated hood pins, brake roters & windshield wiper, I used photo-etched ones (ebay). Also, I added a 6-point PE seatbelt + matching decals.

My only con about this figure is the unnecessary removable arms. No idea why they put removable arms. The apron can just be untied and removed without taking the arms off. Because of this, the right arm is attached to the right breast. Making an indent and a hole in the breast for the arm to attach to. Front half of her hair is also removable to put the glasses on. For such a high price, I would have hoped it as made a bit better.

Where to begin ... there's just something off-putting with her face.
The coloration is a tad off, but that's artistic interpretation (or cheap
manufacturing - the figure is priced cheaply) But the face and lack of
charm just makes this a no-go for me. Alter's Chitoge was the best
representation of that character, and I feel that Alter would do this
more justice than any of GSC's partner could.

The visual aesthetics of this cheap & simple kit are fantastic. Quality parts in white, black & clear. Accurate decals. Rub-on tire markings. Metal antenna. Soft rear mud flaps. 2 sets of driver decals. You want #1 Markku Alén & Ilkka Kivimäki who won the rally. Full engine. The only gripe is the missing foot pedals which I scratch-built. Add some PE hood pins, wires/hoses & screws.

To be fair, Cerberus hardly had any armor to begin with, so maybe
not a very apt comparison. I have not seen a Dark General figure, was
that an Aniplex exclusive? As far as I'm concerned, while Olivia does
edge out in both detail and grandeur, this figure is still a solid piece
on its own. Although if you could spring $100 more, you could get
the Fate T. Harlaown by Freeing instead.

The minus is, the blade is quite thin so you need to be careful. But not worry, it is come with a guard so the blade will protected.

Out of the box, the kit is meticulously detailed to the point that even the brake discs holes were factory-drilled. Parts in gray, white, black & clear. Black & clear pipings. Some parts too fragile. Minor mold lines. Tension spring for rear suspension. No screws, nuts & bolts, but a few brass rods for the wheel axises & swing arm (rear fork). Waterslide decals too easy to break. Multi-langual instructions. Good packaging. No part trees scratching against each other.
