The build quality on these are poor. My figure is almost as bad as Dark Samurai's; the body parts are loose on the default bust, but they stay on as long as it's handled with care. Fortunately, all the body parts fit on the nude bust and are tight. The little triangle piece that goes into the lower back so that it can be posed without the skirt doesn't fit on both busts. Potential buyers beware, the price of this figure does not correspond with the quality of the figure.

Love love me some Rei! Shunya Yamashita's artwork for the Eva series has always attracted tons of attention. His Rei / Asuka for Yamato was a refreshing take on adding maturity to these classic characters. I'm a little confused why they opted to change colors around from the original artwork - white hair instead of light blue, etc. This seems more like an alt version than an original. Still, this is a must have for EVA / Rei collections.

I've lost touch with Sonico lately. Probably because there hasn't been anything special ; mostly stand-alone figures without pizzazz. This one seems a must for Sonico and ecchi fans alike. The fact that GSC would put something so scandalous like this should tell you how poised their decision was. Only wished it was 1/8 scale to fit with the To-Love Ru wedding lingerie series, but then again, can't complain about 1/6 in general.

I think the price worth it if you are a big fan of Neptune series and you can never go wrong with Alter. They are up there on the top of the list of high quality figure producing companies, which explains why they've been nicknamed "Later" by the figure collecting community, Alter does a lot of quality control which results in a lot of delays on release dates on many of their figures.

Just received it today, the actual figure jaw looks fine, and it's absolutely gorgeousm and a lot more glossy than picture shown. One minor complain: the sword is very hard to stay in place in the standing pose, the hand is barely touching it, so any vibration or wind would blow it off.

This figure has got to be the worst figure I l've bought from hobby search and I bought some crappy ones! None of the body parts fit correctly on the default bust as they keep falling off. They fit snug on the alternate bust (nude color) except for the left arm which doesnt fit at all! I want a refund for this figure. These figures cost way too much money to be anything short of perfection!

I can't believe it - a re-release! I had one from the first release but it was broken a few weeks ago (gravity wasn't kind to her). I was thinking about buying another from a re-seller but the prices were exorbitant. Now I can replace it without shredding my budget! BTW if you don't have one get one. The quality is second to none and it's the best figure I ever purchased. Worth every penny!

So in the end it took 20 months for this to get released, and it's not even a good figure for all that effort. The sculpt is not bad, but the paint quality is terrible. Her face is bright orange like a pumpkin, and other details look like dirt has been rubbed into the paint. I also had to glue two of the ribbons on that had been torn off somehow. Buying this was a very expensive mistake.

when it was released in 2014. Don't believe me? Go find it on this site,
it still has the original sticker price.

IMO, if you don't own a PH figure yet, get this one. I'm thinking of selling off
my Wing and replace it with this one, since I haven't taken it out of the box
yet.
