That's because both figures didn't have as much details as this one does.
Carefully compare those figures with this one, and you'll see what I mean.
This figure has a f*ck-ton of coloration, intricate and elaborate brocade,
etc. (fabric representation) The other figure, while impressive in scope, had
props that was plain and cheap to produce, and did not add much to cost.
