noticeable differences in the artistic rendition of the same character. This
has always been the case with other figures, like the SAO ones, where
some are based off of the anime while others off of abec's work.

She is refined, proud and an elitist.
Her ego is fragile too, which is why she "wears a mask".
She may have a lewd side, but she hides it.
Otherwise it's a great figure, but not faithful to her personality.

@Sven : Such modifying is bound to go horribly wrong if I would try it. Also I would wager that they do have some degree of metal skeleton in that supporting leg. Still, long exposure to gravity will most likely have some warp effect.

Pro Tip: to make sure the leg does not droop over time, find a metal coat hanger, cut a piece out of it, drill a hole in the leg and base, and insert the rod to secure both parts together.

The top has a snap in the back that can be opened, The strap from the top goes around the back of her neck with the head to be removed to take the top completely off. But the head is not coming off and I'm afraid to damage it by pulling too hard. I snipped the back of the strap from under her hair in the back. That shouldn't hinder putting it back on though since the cut wouldn't be seen under her hair.
