Having seen the image, I see what OP means. I wouldn't go as far to say it's ugly, but I do think the ball was dropped somewhat in sculpting her. With that said, the original version was long sold out by the time I became aware of it, so this version may be the only way of getting a decent Dark Phoenix figure (as any western versions I've seen are dire).

They shrunk her bust size and dragged the sash down from a straight line into a U shape on the actual statue and yeah, those weird stretchy things weren't there before. They added these ugly folds to break up the shape of her body shapes and breast line and ugly enlarged cloth folds to cover the crotch area.

The old statue looked better, it didn't have floppy textures the artist obviously didn't design.

I'm confused, what is in this set that is worth the extra $22 dollars over the normal one.

$39 dollars is the price of another nendoroid, how is a jacket body and cat worth $22!? I'm pretty sure the extra face is not the big draw, god that glowey eyed face
is pretty much the same as the normal face. Why would I buy the same face twice.

This was already a pretty boring nendoroid already. The smooth untextured bland hair at the forehead in combination with the meh face is REALLY bland.

Amazing looking figure. I heard some had issues with the jaws. Mine had none of that. Almost flawless condition, except one tiny chip on his back, very hard to see and easy to cover up with a drop of paint. Overall very happy I got this one. I was surprised hobby search still had it, since it's many people's favorite showa suit. I suppose this is because of there being many goji64 releases. This one looks absolutely beautiful, great height and great presence.

A must if you need a 64 figure.

Item arrived well packed. Shipping was about 3 weeks once left Tokyo to Canada.

The figure is well detailed, super posable joints, his paint is great and box art. My only complaint is his waist joint fell apart and is looser than it probably should be. It seems these super posable line have these issues though. Overall it's a great figure and may order the extra part set.
