Hey there everyone, this is Tominon.
Here's part 2 of the Train Model Show 2010!
I'll be running through these pictures briefly.
This is (a part of) TOMIX's loooooooooooong diorama display.
Once a train passed by, it was a while before it came back around agian.
Bu thanks to having several trains running along the tracks, you could stay in the same spot without getting bored.
The (drawn-in) sky in the back added a sense of depth to the scenery.
There was an actual working railway crossing with sensors and everything. The signal flashed too!
This is a nonfunctioning gate. There are various types of gates and crossings you can check out
here.
This was the only HO Gauge display at the show.
HO Gauge is bigger than the N-Gauge and I was able to see even more detail in the trains and buildings.
I'll be introducing the inhabitants of these displays again.
(I wonder if there's any demand for this.)

The mikoshi and shop are so detailed that it really felt like there was a festival going on.
* Tourists (Model Train)
A railway fan, camera readied.
But you won't find him as Railway Fan - He's part of the Tourists set.
* Student
Here he is again, but this time taking pictures of people.
This Tourist just fits anywhere.
* Isuzu Elf Small Fire Engine
* Fire Command Vehicle (Toyota Hiace Type)
Not one, not two, but THREE fire engines, stuck at a crossing. Hurry!
An overpass above traffic. People waiting for their bus. This definitely has the feel of cluttered suburban Japan.
* Mitsubishi Fuso Dust Chamber Car & Vacuum Car
The blue dust chamber car you see in the previous three pictures is actually this.
They're a nice touch to breathe more life into model cities..
It comes unpainted, so you can match it to whatever color your city's trucks are.
* Wooden Schoolhouse
This schoolhouse has a post-WW2 looking design. If you paint the roof a darker brown, you can turn it into a pre-war era schoolhouse as well.
There's a sign up for a festival, but there aren't a lot of people here. Maybe it's after the festival ended.

Mothers have come to see the festival as well. They're probably dressed up more than usual.

Woman:
You bought another car!? How many more mortgage payments do you think we have left!?
Man:
No, I uh... I found it!

A melancholic scene. I wonder what she's looking at...
Old man:
Where's the bathroom?
Granddaughter:
Where's grandpa...
Check out that MODEMO truck in the back. Sneaky.

There are people in slightly hidden back alleys too. Looks like this thug is busy bullying someone for his money.
This suspicious couple is wandering in the shopping district.
And these three weirdos in front with their arms out are even more suspicious.

This might have been a bit brief, but that's it for my report.

They were handing out Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) papercrafts at the MODEMO booth, so I went ahead and made one!

I was able to make it even with my clumsy hands.
It was fun to make because I like the Enoden train.
It comes with a father and son too.
Fun little memorabilia of the show.
