A review on Digital Background Catalog - School Zone, Train and Bus
Hi, Tominon here.

Today I'm going to show you a useful item for future Manga artists.

I know you love Manga. Perhaps you used to feel something creative in your mind after reading One piece, Dragon ball and whatever.
In my opinion, one of the definition of “Good Manga” is something stimulate you in creative way.

Meanwhile, you would think like this.
"Year, I love making stories and characters. But how do I make backgrounds? "

Here is the answer.

Digital Background Catalog - School Zone, Train and Bus (w/DVD-ROM)

This volume is featuring school zones, trains and busses so 7 backgrounds relating that has been included, such as school road, park, downtown area and so on.

Ok, let's take a look inside.

Train crossing. You can’t even imagine how long it takes to draw from scratch…
Signals, boom gates, rails, power cables, passing trains, houses…. It’s almost overwhelming!
This book has lots of train crossing data separated by layers so you can use and arrange it as you like following your imagination.

Inside of a bus. Have you ever seen anyone taking a photos in the city bus? Never.
I guess people living outside of Japan has little opportunity to see the inside of it.
. You may have seen an anime that characters are chatting in the bus though, it’s still hard to figure out what it is correctly(・ω・ )

Inside of a train. I think I've seen this kind of pictures lots of times in manga specially school love-come stories.
Anyway, I'm using trains daily for commute but still it’s hard to draw that without any materials. If you want to make a story or picture in Japanese daily life, it’s so useful.

Pictures and line drawings on river side.

It’s kind of essential stuff for teen manga. Fighting with bad kids, chatting with close friend, dating with heroin... you might have seen those scenes many times so far.

Stone stairs.
I know this place, so do you. Guess what?
It’s in Seiseki Sakuragaoka, the setting in “Mimi wo Sumaseba / Wisper of the Heart”!

There are plenty of detailed explanations with pictures and manga.
It's so friendly even for beginners.

So here’s review on
Digital Background Catalog - School Zone, Train and Bus (w/DVD-ROM)!

If you have been interested in Japanese school life and daily scenery, it would be a great help!
