Making original JoJo Nendroid!

Hi, everyone! I’m Togashi, figure fanatic!
This is the first post for this blog. Now I’m so excited!

There are lots of figures in these days as you know. Which one is your favorite? Despite lots of figures has been released from many manufacturers, It’s little tough to me to find out something special, something what I really want. So what should I do? Well, no choice. I have decided to make the one by myself! And… now almost a year has been past from my determination. Let me excuse for this! I had lot of things what I had to do! Watching new anime, reading new manga, playing new games and so on… see? Now you must understand how busy I was!

Anyway, Today I’ll show you how I make my original figure with a Nendroid! The character I choose is Giorno Giovannna from my favorite manga “Jojo’s bizarre adventure”!

First of all, I’ve got to have a Nendroid that is used as a basis. I choose Nendroid Koyomi Araragi! You know why? I thought the school uniform he’s putting can also be used for Giorno!

Giorno and Araragi kun. Giorno’s Characters will be designed of this one.

Let’s start with making Giorno’s hair!

Cutting Araragi head! Looks little creepy, doesn’t it?After that, making Giorno’s hair.

I used New Fando for this. I tested putty and other cray though, Fando is the best for me. It’s so important to find the material that you can use as you like!
After rough sculpting of head parts, I went to school uniform. It’ not so tough actually. The toughest part is curving the collar in heart shape. Then I made couple of ladybug brooches.

… Then, assembling parts, sanding the surface nice and easy and painting. Done! What? “Show me the pictures” you said? Well… sorry, there’s no picture. I totally forgot (T_T) I was too much concentrated at the moment. Sorry about that!
So this is the final product. Giorno doing watermelon splitting game!

This project has started last November and on the original plan I could finish it till December though… it takes longer time than I expected (^^)ゞ Anyway, it was so fun! I hope you will like it! I’m planning the next hand-made figure actually and I will put up on this blog as soon as completed! Thank you for reading!
