[About the actual vehicle]
Maya 34 was manufactured with the purpose of measuring the track condition when the train was running. One vehicle was manufactured in 1959 (Showa 34), but 2002-2007, which improved the body and bogie from 1960 (Showa 40) to 1964 (Showa 44), was 1981 (Showa 53) to 1981. From 2008 to 2010, further improvements were made over (Showa 56). The three vehicles manufactured in the latter half of the vehicle were the same 2800mm width as conventional vehicles compared to the previous 2002-2007 vehicles, and the protrusion of the side observation window has been reduced due to the wider vehicle body width. In addition, a radiator for a diesel engine was installed on the roof, making it a car of a different type. Because of the difference in production time among the late 3 tanks, the number of the 2010 car is different from the previous 2 cars, and the design has been changed such as the addition of side windows and the addition of coolers and ventilators on the roof.
