Product Description

- The Takanami-class destroyer is a fourth-generation general-purpose escort ship built as an improved version of the previous Murasame-class destroyer. It boasts high capabilities and serves as the main vessel of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
- The DD-113 Sazanami was commissioned in 2005 as the fourth Takanami-class destroyer. It is currently based in Kure. It has also been deployed overseas to the Indian Ocean and off the coast of Somalia.
- The kit not only reproduces the differences in armament, such as the 127mm rapid-fire gun and the VLS consolidated into a single Mk.41, which are different from the previous Murasame-class, but also the subtle differences in the superstructure.
