Product Description

The F-15I Rahm (Hebrew for thunder) is operated by the Israel Defense Forces/Air Force 69th Squadron as the successor to the F-4E Kurnas.
The Gulf War (1991), in which Iraqi Scud missiles attacked Israel, made the Israeli government acutely aware of the need for long-range bombers.
The F-15E was redesigned to meet the requirements of the Israeli Air Force (IAF), and many of its avionics were replaced with Israeli-developed systems. As the F-15I, the Israeli government announced the procurement of 21 aircraft in January 1994.
The following year, an additional order was placed for four more aircraft, and a total of 25 aircraft were deployed between 1996 and 1999.
The kit includes newly manufactured parts for the Israeli version, such as the vertical stabilizer, the antenna on top of the nose, the LANTIRN, and the antenna dome behind the canopy.
