- The EA-6B Prowler was an electronic warfare aircraft operated by the U.S. Navy from 1971.
- Based on the A-6 Intruder carrier-based attack aircraft, the Prowler extends the A-6 Intruder's airframe to accommodate a total of four people: the pilot and three electronic warfare personnel.
Furthermore, equipped with various electronic devices, it performed a wide range of electronic warfare missions, including neutralizing surface-to-air missile guidance radars, electronic jamming, and collecting enemy radio intelligence.
-It is said that mass production began in 1969, and 170 units were produced until production ended in 1991, with modifications being made to improve their capabilities along the way.
