Locally, ecchi figures are a toss up in pricing. If they ever hit the bargain bin, they're usually quite obscure, from an unknown manufacturer, and past its prime. I recently stumbled on this one along with other Skytubes and the price has not budged from ~$150.

These stay hot for a while and after years will remain warm and attract dudes who will dish out that kind of money. Whilst, vanilla figures from every and any anime fall out of favor a year or two after its initial release.

Even though it is expensive, pre-orders still went all out. I guess I won't be able to pick one up from the bargain bin after all.

H-figures are always expensive. I have a few from the resin days that look awful compared to modern renditions. This particular figure is awesome - excellent stand and an elegant look overall. SkyTube quality and the T2 Art series are definitely worth every penny.

Tony Taka figures are expensive. They're a hot item right now,
but the market is being saturated with them. I think some of the
manufacturers are getting greedy and I agree that this one is
a wee bit pricey compared to the other T2 figures from Alphamax,
etc.

Haven't you guys been paying attention to the pricing trend? You want expensive? Beelzebub alone took my entire January budget and god knows what Wave's been smoking. As for this figure she's really,really pretty imo and her hair although not the most detailed I'm in love with it but I don't like her boobs. They seem off ... like they had an argument with each other or something if i could have her i wouldn't castoff and yes she should be 1/6 cuz she's really pretty .

If she was 1/6 scale, I wouldn't mind shelling out that kind of price. I love Alphamax and the Skytube series but I'm not rich enough.
