-Type 230, which is famous as Keikyu's [pre-war car], was prepared in 1930 when Shonan Electric Railway, one of the predecessors of Keikyu Electric Railway, newly opened between Koganecho-Uraga and Kanazawa Hakkei-Shonan Isogo The first 25 types of De 1 were the roots, and a total of 55 vehicles, including Keihin Electric Railway, were also introduced, and another eight 3-door type De 101 was used for branch lines.

-In 1943 at the time of the war, Shonan Electric Railway was merged with Tokyu Corporation along with Keihin Electric Railway, and the 2-door car was renamed Deha 5230 and the 3-door car was renamed Deha 5170.
