--This is a guide to the AMP brand completely new mold 1/48 MD-120 flying crane from the Ukrainian micromill.
--MD-120 is a tip jet crane / helicopter that first flew in 1957. The MD-120 not only hung the cargo with a wire and carried it, but also held the cargo at the center of gravity behind the cockpit, and was also able to carry it with a dedicated removable module system (pod).
――The tip jet has advantages over the normal drive shaft system, such as the need for a tail rotor because the reaction of the main rotor, which is peculiar to conventional rotorcraft, does not occur, but on the other hand, poor fuel economy and noise, etc. Due to the drawbacks of MD-120, only two prototypes were produced.
――This injection plastic kit comes with etched parts and multiple types of decals.
-A pod for transporting troops is included as an optional part.
――When the kit is completed, the rotor diameter will be about 196mm and the fuselage will be about 127mm in total length.
