――The 211 series is a DC suburban train with a stainless steel body that appeared in 1985 during the JNR era.・ As a measure against rush in the Shizuoka metropolitan area, it has appeared with all-long seats and no toilet specifications.
――After that, the number of long-distance operations increased with the expansion of the lines used, and the 5300 series with toilets installed on the Kuha 210 type appeared.
--The 211 series 5000 series belonging to the Ogaki vehicle ward was mainly active on ordinary and rapid trains between Maibara and Toyohashi on the Tokaido line until it was replaced by the 313 series 5000 series in 2006.
