Product Description
――In 1955, the demand for small open wagons increased due to the effects of the post-war recession, so the 10-ton small boxcar manufactured as a successor to the pre-war small boxcar Wa 22000 is the Wa 10000 type.
――Because parts were diverted under the name of remodeling the Toki 900 type, which became a large surplus after the war, 12 ton short shaft wheels are used.
――In order to improve running stability, the shaft distance has been extended to 3,500mm compared to 3,000mm for the Wa 22000, and the height and width of the car body have been slightly increased to expand the volume.
――The running device was initially a one-stage link type, but was later changed to a two-stage link.
――Because it is a small car, the underfloor is extremely narrow, so the KC type brake cylinder cannot be adopted, and the KD type is used, and the air tank is a separate body.
――It was active all over the country, and the model disappeared in 1982.
――It is Wa 10012 that was used as a substitute for a waiting car in Suita No. 1 Motive Power Depot.
