[Actual vehicle guide]
- The Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line is a third-rail system subway line with a partial above-ground section of about 20.6 km connecting Takahata Station and Fujigaoka Station. Nagoya's first subway, which opened in 1957, plays an active role as the main transportation artery in the city. 5000 cars appeared in 1980 with the scrapping of 100 and 200 cars, and a total of 138 cars were manufactured. Commercial operation ended in 2015, but some formations were transferred to the Buenos Aires Metro in Argentina, South America, and are still active today. Even now, seven years after his retirement, the 5114 formation that will be commercialized this time was kept at the Fujigaoka factory, but unfortunately it has been decided to dismantle it in 2022.
