- Information on the new 1/72 XM-706 E2 US Air Force armored car from Ukrainian Ace.
- The XM-706 is a four-wheeled amphibious light armored vehicle designed by the American Cadillac Gage Company in the early 1960s as the V-100 Commando.
- The E2 type used by the US Air Force Guard has been deployed since the 1960s and was used for base defense, reconnaissance, explosive disposal, etc.
- Retired in the late 1980s, this vehicle could carry a variety of armaments, but the version with a single-man turret was basically one M2 Browning 50 caliber machine gun and one 7.62mm M60 machine gun. It was equipped with a dagger.
- The crew consisted of 2 people (driver and machine gunner) with a maximum crew of 10.
