- The AD-5Q is a four-seat electronic jammer with a side-by-side configuration and seats for two Electronic Warfare Officers (EWOs) behind the cockpit.
- 54 aircraft were produced, with the vertical tail area expanded and side dive brakes abolished.
- The kit includes a new molded lower fuselage antenna cover and pylon, as well as a large radar pod that is also depicted in the package art.
