Product Description

- The M13/40, which was standardized in 1940, had shortcomings such as the narrow field of fire of its predecessor, the M11/39, but this was improved by mounting the main gun in a powered rotating turret.
- In addition, the main gun is a 47mm gun with improved performance, and the armor thickness has been increased to a maximum of 40mm.
- The twin machine guns were moved to the hull, and the number of crew members increased by one to four.
- Engine power increased from 105hp to 125hp, but even this was insufficient due to the increased weight.
- Approximately 800 M13/40 units were produced, but nearly 2,000 chassis were produced, including those used for self-propelled guns.
