Product Description

- 1/80 scale 16.5mm gauge plastic model (finished product)
- The powered car is a Kumoha 157 type.
- Coreless motor
- Magnetic detachable train mark
- Headlights/taillights on

- The 157 series debuted in 1959 as the Deluxe Semi-Express [Nikko].
- It had exceptional facilities for a semi-express train. Later, it was also used on the Tokaido Main Line's limited express "Hibiki," the express "Izu" bound for the Izu area, and the limited express "Amagi," among others.
- Furthermore, the VIP car Kuro 157 was a unique and exceptional train, operated exclusively for the Imperial train, the Emperor's personal train, and trains for foreign dignitaries.

[55065 157 Series Limited Express Livery, Early Air-Conditioned Model, Basic 7-Car Set / 55066 Add-on 2-Car Set]
- In 1963, air conditioning was installed, and the band color changed from Red No. 11 to Red No. 2, the standard color for limited express trains.
- The Moha 156 series has been equipped with two pantographs.
- Due to the regularization of one round trip of the limited express "Hibiki," it has been withdrawn from all semi-express services except for the "Nikko" service.
