Product Description
[About the actual machine]
- In 1962, the U.S. Navy presents a request for proposals for a successor to the A-4 [Naval Light Attack Aircraft (VAL) Plan] to aircraft manufacturers.
- The successor aircraft was required to have twice the weapon carrying capacity of the A-4 and the ability to drop weapons in all weather conditions.
- As a result of comparative study, LTV's proposal was adopted and given the name [A-7 Corsair II].
- The A-7's appearance is very similar to the F-8 on which it was designed, but since it is a subsonic aircraft, the structure and mechanism of the main wing have been changed.
- The E-type is a modified version of the Air Force-spec D-type to naval specifications, with electronic equipment and cannons replaced, a folding mechanism for the main wings, and a lightning arrester installed.
- Also, it was the first naval aircraft to implement a HUD.
[About the model]
- It is possible to reproduce the characteristic main wing folding state of carrier-based aircraft.
- Comes with aircraft markings that reproduce Low Visibility (low visibility paint).
*The kit is made of UV resin (3D printing). Instant adhesive is required for assembly. Also, there are some parts where the support material of the parts needs to be shaped. If there are any chips in the parts, you will need to repair them with putty, etc.
*Please use neutral detergent to clean parts. Cleaning with acetone etc. may corrode parts.
