[About the actual vehicle]
- After bringing 4WD technology to the world of rallying and demonstrating its overwhelming power, Audi's next goal was to challenge 4WD to circuit racing.
- The machine, developed based on the 4-door sedan A4 Quattro, debuted in Class 2 touring car racing in 1995. The following year, in 1996, he also participated in the British BTCC.
- The engine is a 2-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces over 300 horsepower and is mounted vertically. Power was transmitted to all four wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox using the quattro system.
