Product Description

- 1/80 scale, 16, 5mm gauge model railway
- Licensed for commercialization by JR Hokkaido
- Finished interior included
- This product is a brass model (metal model) made primarily from brass and other metals.

[About the actual car]
- The Alpha Continental Express is a European-style diesel railcar that was created in 1985 by modifying a Kiha 56 series train, and was the forerunner of the Resort Train.
- Initially, the train consisted of three cars (Kiha 59-1 + Kiha 29-1 + Kiha 59-2), but in 1986, Kiha 59-101 (middle car) was added, and later, KiRo 26-202 and Kiha 56-213 were repainted and used to add more cars.
- It was in service on various lines within Hokkaido, but unfortunately due to aging it ceased service in October 1994 and was decommissioned in October 1995.

[About the model]
- Made mainly of brass, the interior light is Unit Light B (white LED).
- The bogie is a die-cast DT-22.
- Powered by Canon coreless LN-14 general-purpose double-shaft motor + Φ10.5mm + WB26mm MP gear.
