- The bolt-action mechanism of the Gew98 is called the "Mauser action" and has influenced the design of almost all subsequent bolt-action rifles.
- The Kar98k, which had such an action, was a highly acclaimed bolt-action rifle that was highly praised throughout WWII, thanks to its ease of handling due to its shortened action and the combined strength of German industrial technology.
- This is a 1/12 scale model that precisely reproduces the Kar98k.
- You can choose from three styles: bolt cocked, uncocked, and open, and you can also choose the long style with a bayonet attached.
