- The Sd.Kfz.251 was one of the armored half-tracks deployed and used by the German army during WWII.
- The Sd.Kfz.251 is an armored personnel carrier developed based on a 3t half-track, and in addition to the basic armored personnel carrier type, many derivative types have been produced.
- In addition, its excellent off-road capabilities allowed it to tow various artillery pieces. The final production model, the D type, was released in 1944.
- The Sd.Kfz.251 was towed by the 7.5cm Pak40, one of the anti-tank guns used by the German army. It was developed by Rheinmetall.
- It is said that 23,000 were produced between 1942 and the end of the war, and it became the German army's main anti-tank gun in World War II.
