- The 25-ton Panzer IV, which entered production in 1936, was designed to be equipped with a 75mm gun, and its ample hull design, including a larger turret ring diameter than the Panzer III, led to the creation of a wide variety of derivative models.
- One of them is a rocket launcher-equipped model, of which only one was produced as a prototype.
- Germany began researching the use of rockets for ground combat in the 1930s, and completed the Nebelwerfer in 1941. It was deployed primarily on the Eastern Front, where it proved effective in many locations.
- Considering the effectiveness of this weapon and its drawbacks, such as the large amount of exhaust smoke emitted after firing that makes it easy for the enemy to spot it, we considered mounting the rocket launcher on a vehicle and using it.
- This vehicle was based on the chassis of the Panzer IV Ausf. B (some say Ausf. C) and was fitted with a turret equipped with four 28cm rockets at the rear, making it a self-propelled rocket artillery gun with superior mobility and defensive capabilities compared to the armored car-based version.
- This product is a 1/72 scale injection plastic model of a prototype vehicle equipped with a rocket launcher, developed based on the Panzer IV B or C, which served as the German army's main battle tank during World War II.
- The tracks are link-and-length type and come with decals.
