[Product Introduction]
- The VT18.16 is an express diesel railcar manufactured by the East German State Railway (DR) in the 1960s as a sign of the country's pride.
- Each leading car was equipped with a 900 horsepower engine (1000 horsepower for mass-produced cars), giving it an output of 1,800 horsepower (2,000 horsepower for mass-produced cars), giving it a top speed of 160 km.The name VT18.16 was derived from the German word for diesel railcar, "Verbrennungistriebwagen."
- After a later change in naming rules, the locomotive was renamed BR175 and was used on international trains in 4-6 car formations.
- The Windobona is particularly well known for its exploits, and has become synonymous with the type.
- After their retirement, the vehicles were preserved in various parts of Germany, and one set is currently being restored to working order by a preservation organization.
- This is an express diesel railcar of the East German National Railways, which is still popular today.
- This six-car set is based on the specifications of the train when it was in service after it was renamed BR175 in the 1970s, and can be freely configured into four to six car formations just like the real thing.
- In addition, a 4-car set of `Revival specification` that is being restored for operational revival is also available.

[Product Features]
- The 6-car set is a formation with VTa 175 011-6 at the front, and the 4-car set is a preserved car (SVT Görlitz) with VTa 18.16.10 at the front.
- The six-car set beautifully reproduces the ivory + red livery of the locomotive when it was in service after it was renamed BR175 in the 1970s.
- The 4-car set reproduces the formation of the revival operation. Beautifully reproduces the paint with black and blue stripes at the bottom.
- Reproduces distinctive details such as the streamlined nose shape and four round windows lined up
- Diaphragm couplers are used for intermediate connections. Dummy couplers are used for the leading car.
