--An updated version of the last sleeper express train, the Hamanasu, which ran through the Seikan Tunnel between Aomori and Sapporo!

[Product Introduction]
- The sleeper express "Hamanasu" was a sleeper express train operated by JR Hokkaido that ran from Aomori to Sapporo via the Seikan Tunnel. It was introduced when the Seikan Tunnel opened in 1988, and was a popular train with a variety of cars, including B-class sleepers, carpeted cars, and dream cars (reclining seats) with reserved and unreserved seats, but it was retired with the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen in March 2016.
- The basic configuration is a seven-car train consisting of five 14-series passenger cars and two sleeper cars, but during busy periods, additional cars are added to make a maximum of 12 cars.
- The popular sleeper express "Hamanasu", one of the last passenger sleeper trains to continue its activities, is back again. The <3076-3 ED79 single arm pantograph>, an essential locomotive for towing the train, will also be released at the same time. You can enjoy this famous train of the past in N gauge.
- Starting with this product, the destination display on the side will be changed from printed to sticker type. Also, the included DD51 head mark will be changed to a type with a head mark stay. As a result, the product number, price, and JAN code will change.

[Product Features]
- A commercialization of the popular regular sleeper express train that appeared in 1988 and was in service until the end of passenger sleeper trains.
- The Suhanef 14 is a reproduction of the gabled (folded) and white stripe type known as the Hokkaido type, which was modified from the Ohanef 25, the 550 series.
- Reproduces Oha 14 515 (Carpet Car) with its distinctive window arrangement. Not only the unique vehicle shape, but also the interior with a two-tiered floor is reproduced.
- Each 14-series 500-series car features sliding passenger doors for cold climates.
- The middle of the train is equipped with a body-mounted sealed self-coupling coupler. The locomotive coupling side of the Suhanefu 14 552 and Suhafu 14 502 is equipped with an Arnold coupler as standard. A replacement knuckle coupler is also included. A replacement knuckle coupler for Suhafu 14 557 is also included.
- The basic set of Suhanefu and Suhafu has tail lights and train markings. The No. 3 car, Suhafu 14 557, has a switch to turn off the lights.
- Three types of convertible train marks are included: [Hamanasu], [Straits], and [Express].
- The side direction sign is plain white. Stickers containing destination indications and signs are included.
