Product Description

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the F4U Corsair, a US WWII carrier-based fighter. In particular, it models the F4U-1D type.
The kit parts are molded from plastic colored to match the US Navy aircraft color of the time, FS15042.
The finished length is approximately 140mm, the overall width is approximately 170mm, and the unique inverted gull-type wing design and fuselage shape are faithfully reproduced down to the panel lines.
Of course, the canopy is made of clear parts so you can look into the cockpit even after completion, and the set also includes a pilot figure that fits into the cockpit.
In addition, the legs can be assembled either extended or retracted.
Furthermore, this kit also includes a replica engine, and the cowling can be removed even after completion, allowing you to enjoy a mechanical feel.
Decals are provided for markings.
