This is a 1/125 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the L-1011 TriStar, a passenger aircraft that began service in 1972.

[About the actual machine]
The L-1011 TriStar is a wide-body jet airliner developed by the American company Lockheed.
The first flight was in November 1970, and operation began in 1972.
The aircraft was equipped with three Rolls-Royce RB211-22 engines and had a cruising speed of approximately 954km/h.
Technically, the aircraft was equipped with the latest technology, including an instrument landing system and ILS Category III A compatibility.
The first aircraft was delivered to Eastern Airlines in April 1972 and began service, after which it was used by airlines around the world.
Total production was limited to about 250 aircraft.
In Japan, it was operated by ANA (All Nippon Airways) and could be seen in action.
