The A-10 Thunderbolt II is a close air support and ground attack aircraft that has been in service with the US military since 1977.
It is equipped with twin engines and its main features include its straight wing design.
A total of 11 hardpoints are provided under the wings and on the fuselage, giving the aircraft the capacity to carry 7,260 kg of bombs, rockets, missiles, etc.
Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with a GAU-8/A Avenger autocannon in the nose.
This provides high attacking capability.
Improvements have continued even after deployment, and the A-10C, which was introduced in 2005, is a modified A-type aircraft equipped with a glass cockpit.
It demonstrated its capabilities during the Gulf War in 1991.
They are also deployed to units in Europe, and aircraft painted in a camouflage called European One are used to suit the region.

The parts are manufactured by Italeri and the Japanese assembly instructions are produced by Platz, so you can enjoy this kit with confidence.
In addition, this kit also includes specially developed etching parts for adding detail.
The special etched parts reproduce the instrument panel inside the cockpit with printed meters and seat belts, as well as the landing gear cords and other details inside the landing gear wells, the inner parts of the A-10's distinctive wing power supply cover, and the fins and details of the extensive weaponry.
The finished total length is 33.8cm.
Not only the aircraft shape but also the panel lines are realistically expressed.
Some inspection panels can be assembled open or closed.
The kit also comes with masking stickers that are convenient for painting the canopy frame.
The markings were selected from those of the 706TFS under the 926TFS (Tactical Fighter Wing), which was decorated with a two-tone green and one-tone grey camouflage called European One, which was adopted in 1978.
