Product Description

The Russian Navy's Kirov-class ship is the lead ship, Kirov (later renamed Admiral Ushakov by the Russian Navy).
Commissioned in 1980, it was a 28,000-ton giant ship with combined nuclear propulsion and steam turbine power, and was classified as a heavy nuclear guided missile cruiser.
The ship was of an advanced design, with its main weapons, the SS-N-19 cruise missiles and SA-N-6 anti-aircraft missiles, being vertically launched and various parts of its superstructure being sloped to give it stealth properties.
Also, unusually for a modern warship, it was armored.
