The M1919 is a machine gun that symbolizes the US military during WWII. It has a lightweight, air-cooled barrel and uses the same .30 caliber bullets as the main rifle. It is known for its high reliability and robust design, and it was used in a variety of ways, including airborne/vehicle mounted, tripod mounted, and portable. It is a masterpiece machine gun that almost always appears in films and documentaries featuring the US military.
Little Armory has precisely recreated the A4 ground combat tripod-mounted model in 1/12 scale, based on research at the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Weapons School. The set also includes an ammunition box, soft resin ammunition belt, and M2 tripod, giving it the presence and realism of a lightweight yet heavy machine gun.
*The M2 Tripod can also be used with other Little Armory LMGs (M60, M240, M249).
