We are pleased to announce the completely new 1/72 scale injection plastic kit of the Deir-e-Bakaran DB-10 heavy night bomber from Micromill of Ukraine.
The DB-10 was a French heavy night bomber which first flew in 1926.
The aircraft was a twin-engine aircraft with a fabric-covered metal frame and a flying body design, a feature characteristic of this manufacturer.
The thick central section of the wing between the left and right engines housed the engines, bomb bays, and fuel tanks, and above them were the cockpits for the navigator/bombardier/gunner, pilot, and co-pilot.
Behind the wings was the conventional fuselage and tail, as well as the rear gunner's cockpit.
With a revolutionary design for its time, the aircraft was entered in a competition for a new night bomber by the French Air Force in 1926, but was not adopted and only a single prototype was built.
The kit comes with etched parts, a 3D printed engine and one type of decal.
When completed, the total length will be approximately 189mm and the total width approximately 347mm.
