Product Description
Aoshima's waterline has been renewed with more precision!
The outfitting parts have been newly designed and verified. The mold has been equipped with numerous sliding mechanisms to accurately reproduce the intricacy of the 1/700 scale. We are pleased to present the Waterline Series, which has been reborn with even more precision.
The Taiyo was originally completed as a passenger ship for Nippon Yusen, the Kasuga Maru, but was requisitioned and commissioned as the first of a series of commercial aircraft carriers. Although it did not achieve notable success in naval battles, it was a ship that supported the front lines by transporting troops and aircraft. This kit is a 1/700 scale plastic model kit of the aircraft carrier Taiyo. With a focus on the essential parts, it is simple and easy to assemble, and can be accurately reproduced. Newly designed equipment such as a triple 25mm machine gun has been added. It effectively expresses the precision and intricacy of the 1/700 scale.
- Various parts have been updated, focusing on the triple machine gun mount and other equipment!
- Japanese Navy aircraft carriers are included.
