[About Great Saurus]
In the late 1970s, known as the third monster boom, Popy [Greatsaurus Series] and [Kingsaurus Series] (sold from 1978 to 1981) appeared. These were collectible toys made by [Poppy], a group company of Bandai.
The biggest feature of the series is the molded footprints on both feet of each character, which is why this series was also called the "footprint series."
It was developed as part of the Ultra Monster Series and the Toho Monster Series.

At the time, the Great Saurus series consisted of only selected characters from the King Saurus series in giant size. The Great Saurus Godzilla was later remodeled into lamps and telephone receivers, and lined up in fancy shops.

As part of a project to celebrate Godzilla's 70th anniversary, the historic Godzilla soft vinyl figure, "Great Saurus Godzilla," was faithfully reproduced and reissued using a new mold, with the first release being a huge success and selling out completely.
This second Godzilla release comes in two color versions: colorless and transparent, and a retro green version.
Movable arms, legs and tail
The soles of the feet are molded to resemble the Great Saurus' feet from that time.
