[About the actual machine]
The Messerschmitt BF-109 was the main fighter aircraft deployed by the German army during World War II.
It first flew in 1935 and saw action in the Spanish Civil War in 1937.
They began to be deployed and used by the German army in the spring of 1942, and continued to fight bravely until the end of the war.
Equipped with a Daimler-Benz liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, the small and lightweight aircraft had a top speed of 600 km/h.
Its hit-and-run tactics have produced many ace pilots.
As the war progressed, various improvements were made and various variations were created, but the Bf 109E (Emil) was the first full-scale mass-produced model equipped with a Daimler-Benz DB601 V12 engine and was one of the main types.
The E-type served as the mainstay of the early stages of the war, from the invasion of Poland, to the fierce battles with Britain in the Battle of Britain, the North African front, and the war against the Soviet Union.
The first fully-fledged mass-produced model was the E-3.

[About the model]
This is a 1/32 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the German WWII fighter plane, the Messerschmitt Bf 109.
- Among them, the E-3 type of Bf109E [Emil] is modeled.
This kit features Dragon's ambitious design, which uses slide molds to ensure ease of assembly and reproducibility.
- Not only the fuselage shape but also the panel lines are accurately reproduced, showing the differences in depth depending on the part. Furthermore, the rudder and ailerons can be assembled at any angle.
The nose features a model of the engine, also made using a slide mold, with detailed reproductions. Numerous parts are used to represent the DB601 engine, including auxiliary equipment.
The propeller's appearance and cross-section are accurately reproduced, and it can be attached at any angle. In addition, the MG17 machine gun mounted in the nose is also meticulously reproduced.
The cockpit, including the cockpit, instrument panel, and radio, has been faithfully recreated to the 1/32 scale.
