──Tomica 55th Anniversary [Hakosuka] 2000GT 2-door hardtop appears

The third-generation Skyline, commonly known as "Hakosuka," was launched in 1968, and a two-door hardtop version was released in the fall of 1970.
The wheelbase was shortened by 70mm compared to the preceding four-door sedan, which is said to have been done to improve cornering performance when racing, but it also contributed greatly to the styling.
The long-nose 2000GT series in particular helped improve the image of the Skyline as a whole, further increasing sales, which had already been on the rise thanks to the "Love Skyline" advertising campaign.

TLV has produced the Hakosuka four-cylinder sedan, light van, 2000GT series sedan, and 2000GT-R sedan, and now has finally produced a two-door hardtop.
First, we will recreate the early model 2000GT from 1971.
It comes in two colors: silver, the color that symbolizes Hakosuka, and lavender metallic, a rare color.
This car model is a masterpiece that was also produced as an early Tomica product.
To celebrate Tomica's 55th anniversary, enjoy the Hakosuka hardtop, now a modern 1/64 scale miniature car.
