Product Description

The M4 medium tank was a 30-ton medium tank developed and manufactured in the United States during World War II, boasting high mobility and firepower. The M4A1 is a type with a cast one-piece upper hull that began mass production in February 1942.
The M4A1 was equipped with the same air-cooled radial engine as the M4, and although it had less interior space than the M4, which had a welded steel body, its rounded body shape made it better at evading bullets.
The M4A1(76)W, a later model with a wet magazine and a T23 turret equipped with a 76mm gun, was deployed in combat from July 1944.
The M51 is a vehicle operated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) equipped with a turret fitted with a shortened version of the CN-105-F1 56-caliber 105mm gun mounted on a later model M4A1 cast chassis.
The first production model with a gasoline engine was called Degem Alef (Type A).
