Introducing the completely new 1/72 scale de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver from Ukraine's Drawings.
The DHC-2, a STOL aircraft that first flew in 1947, was in production for about 20 years, with nearly 1,700 built.
The aircraft for the British Army was designated the Beaver AL.1 and was used in medium-range general-purpose missions in Yemen, British Malaya, and Borneo.
With its excellent visibility and agile maneuverability, the aircraft was fitted with a camera and deployed for photo reconnaissance missions during the Northern Ireland conflict that began in the late 1960s, providing valuable information to the British Army.
They were also deployed to the Malaysian conflict in the 1960s and the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus during the Cyprus conflict.
The kit comes with etched parts, paint mask stickers and three types of British Army Beaver AL.1 decals.
When completed, the total length will be approximately 128mm and the total width will be approximately 204mm.
