[About the actual machine]
The Messerschmitt BF-109 was the main fighter aircraft deployed by the German army during World War II.
It first flew in 1935 and saw action in the Spanish Civil War in 1937.
They began to be deployed and used by the German army in the spring of 1942, and continued to fight bravely until the end of the war.
Equipped with a Daimler-Benz liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, the small and lightweight aircraft had a top speed of 600 km/h.
Its hit-and-run tactics have produced many ace pilots.
As the war progressed, various improvements were made and various variations were created, but the Bf 109E (Emil) was the first full-scale mass-produced model equipped with a Daimler-Benz DB601 V12 engine and was one of the main types.
It saw action on many battlefields, from the invasion of Poland to the Battle of Britain, the North African front, and the war against the Soviet Union.

[About the model]
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the German main fighter plane of World War II.
- Among them, the Bf109E [Emil] type E-4 is modeled.
- This kit features Dragon's ambitious design, which pursues ease of assembly and reproducibility, and the torso is reproduced in a single part using a slide mold.
-Not only does it accurately reproduce the shape, but it also allows you to proceed with the work without having to worry about adhesive surfaces during assembly.
- Since there is no process for finishing or correcting the adhesive surface, the panel lines of the aircraft can be carved as they are.
-In addition, the main wing parts are divided not in the center of the leading edge of the wing, but around the underside, which also eliminates the need for finishing and repairing the adhesive surfaces, and creates a realistic finish in the details.
-In addition, a Daimler-Benz 12-cylinder engine is provided in the nose as a single 3D printed part.
-The set also includes a pre-painted canopy frame and large decals that recreate the camouflage paint scheme unique to German aircraft.
