Product Description

The Sd.Kfz.131, designated "Marder II" in November 1943, was an anti-tank destroyer (Panzerjäger) mounted on a Panzer II Ausf.F chassis and armed with a Rheinmetall 7.5cm PaK40/2 anti-tank gun.
This vehicle was a mobile anti-tank gun that allowed for quicker and more flexible position changes than towed guns.Although its thin armor and open-top design meant that it had low survivability, the superiority of its onboard gun made it more than capable of competing against Allied tanks.
The Marder II, deployed to tank hunter battalions, continued to fight on the front lines until the end of the war.
