[About the actual vehicle]
The Carlo Armato L6/40 was a light tank developed and equipped by the Italian army during World War II.
A prototype vehicle was completed in 1938, and it was officially adopted in 1940.
The engine was a Fiat SPA 18D 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine, achieving a top speed of 42 km/h.
The armament consisted of a Breda 20mm autocannon and an 8mm Breda machine gun mounted in the turret.
When deployment began in 1941, it was used on various fronts, including the North African campaign, the Eastern Front, the Balkans, Italy, and Corsica, and played an active role in reconnaissance and other operations.
It is said that production continued until the end of 1942, with just over 280 units produced.

[About the model]
This model is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Italian light tank Carlo Armato L6/40 from World War II.
