This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter of the United States Marine Corps.

[About the actual device]
The American AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter began operation in 1967.
The AH-1W Super Cobra was introduced as an improved version of that.
It is characterized by being equipped with two General Electric T700-GE-700 turboshaft engines and made its first flight in 1983.
It was used by the U.S. Marine Corps from 1986 to 2020.
It was also called the Whiskey Cobra because of the [W] in its model name.
It is equipped with one M197 20mm autocannon as fixed armament.
Four hardpoints are located under the wings, allowing for the attachment of various missiles and rocket pods.
It was first deployed in combat during the 1990 Gulf War and performed admirably.
