The F-15 Eagle is a U.S. Air Force fighter jet that is still known as the world's most powerful air superiority fighter.
It made its maiden flight in 1972, began deployment in 1976, and remains a globally recognized fighter jet in active service.
Of all the aircraft, the F-15C had the highest production numbers.
The aircraft features clipped delta wings and two vertical stabilizers, powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100 turbofan engines.
It exhibits high speeds and acceleration exceeding Mach 2, as well as superior turning ability.
Furthermore, it is equipped with an electronic warfare system and can carry various missiles, including the AIM-120 air-to-air missile.

[About the model]
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the US Air Force's F-15C Eagle.
The finished overall length is 403mm.
This kit combines Italeri's signature realistic reproduction with guaranteed ease of assembly.
- The aircraft's shape is accurately modeled along with each panel line.
- The radome on the nose is a separate part and can be displayed in either the open or closed position.
- When assembled in the open position, the internally equipped radar is also modeled, resulting in a mechanical finish.
The cockpit features detailed reproductions of the seat, as well as the instrument panel, control stick, and other small parts, enhancing its realism.
The legs and the interior of the leg storage compartments are also modeled with great detail.
Additionally, the air brakes at the rear of the cockpit can be assembled in either the open or closed position.
