This diorama set depicts the fierce air defense battles fought in the skies above the Kanto region between 1944 and the end of the war, when fighter planes such as the Raiden were scrambled from Atsugi Airfield to intercept American B-29 bombers attacking the area.
In addition to hangars and bunkers, the kit includes airfield facilities such as a command center, barracks, and watchtowers, as well as support vehicles such as fuel tankers and GB trucks.
